  • AlpineBot, the team’s RoboRAVE robot, with its orange 3D-printed duct, on the competition table in Osaka.

    Team 1 RoboRAVE

    Programming

Learn to write the code that makes a robot think and move.

    What you build
Python and Arduino code for the RoboRAVE robots.
    What you need
    Nothing. You start from zero.
  • The Clearpath Jackal J100 ground robot with a robotic arm and lidar, indoors.

    Team 2 Rover / ROS 2

    Advanced Programming

Programming robots at the system level: ROS 2, networking and autonomous navigation.

    What you build
Navigation and SLAM: the robot maps the space and reaches its goal on its own.
    What you need
Programming basics. You get them in the Programming team.
  • The Mingda MD-400D 3D printer, which has two print heads.

    Team 3

    3D Design & Printing

Design a part on the computer, then print it.

    What you build
Mounts, housings and parts for our robots.
    What you need
Nothing. We start with Tinkercad, then move on to Fusion.
  • An Arduino board beside a breadboard of wired components, with multimeter probes on the bench.

    Team 4

    Electronics

Give the robot its senses: sensors, circuits and wiring.

    What you build
Circuits and wiring for the robots, and sensor testing.
    What you need
    Nothing. You learn hands-on.
  • The team’s “1st Place” poster from RoboRAVE Japan: the team with their medals and the Greek flag.

    Team 5

    Marketing, Social Media & Communication

You don’t need to code to make a robot go viral.

    What you build
Photos and video for the team’s social media, covering our tests and competitions.
    What you need
Nothing technical. We’re also looking for someone to handle email and communication with the university and other organisations.

Join us.
